3 am @ the Waffle House is a compilation album designed to call attention to Youth Homelessness through non-profit sponsor, Covenant House—
a sanctuary for youth experiencing homelessness nationwide. The songs selected for the vinyl are meant to intertwine the noisy, vibrant nature of youth and the reflective quiet that comes from being alone; if not in lyrics, then in tone.

The outside cover is bright and silly and can depict a family or the youth in question. Handwritten questions and statements of the thoughts that crowd their minds are scrawled throughout the design. The inside cover takes on a quieter, darker tone with only one place to go; the Waffle House, a home for all whose doors never close.
